Bertel O. Steen Spesialkjøretøy AS (BOS Special Vehicles) is the leading distributor in Norway
of armoured and un-armoured special vehicles to the armed forces, government offices and
police forces. More than 4000 Mercedes-Benz Gelendewagen have been delivered to Norwegian forces over the last couple of decades, this includes everything from general purpose, armoured fighting vehicles, logistics, rescue and stripped carriers for special built-up's as, mobile radars, ISTAR and other applications utilized by our armed forces.

Backed up by Bertel O. Steen's organisation, founded in 1901, BOS Special Vehicles probably holds the largest logistic network, 150 modern mechanical facilities and the most skilled and motivated mechanics and engineers in our region. The last statement is being re-enforced by BOS's organisation being selected as on of the "Top-Ten Working Places" in Norway in 2010.

At BOS Special Vehicles' main office, just outside Oslo, we have access to more than 110 mechanics, giving us capacity for deliveries of any sized project. We hold a wide range of carriers, and our experience and competency in design and customized solution is spanning from vehicles as small as 0.5 ton up to 110 ton.

Our team also offers integration of third-party products, securing optimized end result. This could include cranes, lifting bags, rescue & recovery equipment, and other parts and accessories from a huge selection of brands.

Currently large and prestige projects for BOS Special Vehicles includes frame agreement with the Norwegian Police Procurement Office, including intelligent agencies, State department, and and many governmental offices.

BOS Special vehicles is the European distributor of latest generation rubber tracks for M113 (APC). Soucy International Inc. manufactures a unique solution for these heavy armoured personnel carriers (APC), which has led to a new era in use of this vehicle. Soucy's rubber track technology, which is virtually maintenance free, is world leading, giving huge savings and ease in logistics for the nations currently having them in service.
